Eracelio "Laco" Anaya

Eracelio "Laco" Anaya, 80, was born on July 10, 1934, in Tajiue, New Mexico, and entered into the gates of Heaven on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at his home in Albuquerque, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Juanita Anaya; son, Laco Anaya Jr.; brothers, Daniel and Ben Anaya; sister-in-law, Emily Anaya; brother-in-law, John Cruz. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Anaya; sons, Lionel and Doris Anaya, Daniel and Juanita Anaya, Anthony Anaya; daughter, Valarie Anaya; daughter-in-law, Helen; adopted daughters, Franchesca and Erika Cadena; stepdaughters, Tommie and Jeff Hunke, Ida Cadena de Ramirez; stepson, Joe Ramirez; brothers, Abel and Alice Anaya, Honorio and Roseila Anaya, Carmel and Carmelita Anaya, Sammy and Carol Anaya; sisters, Lita and Rafael Gonzales, Beatrice Varela; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE, 87108. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary. Pallbearers will be Jacob Anaya, Daniel Anaya, Daniel Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Francisco Cadena Jr. Michael Cordova. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Anaya and David Romero.
