Eppie Carrillo

CARRILLO, Maria Epimenia (Eppie) Age 91, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully with her family around her on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Eppie was born on September 15, 1922 to Donaciano and Margarita Cordova. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ramon Carrillo; two infant sons; grandson, Martin Lucero; three brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Lucero, Loretta Fresquez and husband, Victor, Consuelo Martinez and husband, Larry and Christina Carrillo Padilla and husband, Leo; grandchildren, Lisa Henneman and husband, Glen, Gina Ripley and husband, David, Armando Fresquez and girlfriend, Teresa, Ramon Martinez and wife, Vallie, Jacobo Martinez and wife, Jennifer, Luis Martinez and wife, Carolyn, and Adrianna Miller and husband, Jarrett: great-grandchildren, Nicole Henneman, Danielle Ripley, Kevin Henneman, Andrew Henneman, Brandon Ripley, Marianna Martinez, Ramon Martinez, Isabella Miller, Eva Martinez, Julianna Miller, Olivia Martinez, Rebecca Martinez and soon Adeline Harper Miller; sister-in-law, Olga Sandoval; as well as many nieces and nephews. Eppie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, which she loved and cared about above all else. We are so very grateful for the love she bestowed on each of us. She will always be loved and missed dearly. Our family wishes to express deep gratitude to the caregivers who assisted us in caring for Eppie during the last year. A memorial rosary will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial mass at 11:30 a.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, located at 5712 Paradise Blvd, NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87114, 505-898-0826.
