Emma Jean Winter

Emma Jean Winter, 92 of Albuquerque, New Mexico went peacefully to be with the Lord on October 13, 2021.

She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Decatur, Texas on September 20, 1929.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim; parents, Clyde and Tillie Thompson; her grandson, Damon Chavez; 3 brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by daughter, Karen Winter, daughter Kathy Leard and her husband Ronnie; son, Tommy Winter, daughter Janet Shiver and her husband Miles; son, Greg Winter and his wife Debbie; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

At her request, no funeral services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
