Emma Louise Damron Webb, 83, resident of Albuquerque since 1980, passed away on September 10, 2015. Known as Louise, she was born to Max and Elsie Damron on October 11, 1931 in Ceredo, WV. She spent some of her happiest childhood years in Hopkinsville, KY. Louise loved horses and was an avid equestrian. She moved to Louisville, KY in her teens and graduated from Louisville Girls High school in 1949. Louise met the love of her life, Richard Webb III, in Ft. Knox, KY at a USO dance in 1952. They married on November 14, 1953. Richard served his country as a member of the U.S. Army which allowed his family to live in different parts of the world. Upon retirement, he and Louise settled in Albuquerque, NM. Louise took great pride in her gardening. You could say she had a green thumb. Louise is preceded in death by husband, Col. Richard Webb III (Ret); her parents; sisters, Mary Helen and Ann; and brother Max. She is survived by four children, Richard Webb IV, Cathleen Ann Ward, Leslie Peonio (Gus), Robert Chandler Webb ( Ruby); grandchildren, Christopher R. Wall (Melissa), Cathleen C. Wall, Megan Lujan (Taylor), Genevieve Sanchez (Bernie), John Wall (Cassandra); great-grandchildren, Taylor Gongora, Jody Villa, Ahrianna Laviegne, Lucas Villa, Christian Villa, Marcello Wall, and Jade Lujan and extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
