Emma Mabel Jaramillo Gonzales

Emma entered into eternal rest with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 28, 2021, at La Vida Llena Life Plan Community.

She was born to Demetrio and Lucia Jaramillo on October 12, 1926, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Her husband, Joe Gonzales, preceded her in death.  She is survived by her two devoted children, Barbara Ann Stouffer (Spencer), Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Joseph Richard Gonzales (Elizabeth), Farmington, New Mexico.  She was the loving grandmother to Brian Jett, Allison Jett Saunier, Leanne Gonzales Massey, David Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Spencer Stouffer II and Jennifer Stouffer Newton; and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind siblings, Ernest Jaramillo, Dolores Martinez, Rosalie Gabaldon; and many nieces and nephews.

Emma was the Bernalillo County Clerk for many years in the late 60’s and early 70’s and a leader in the New Mexico Federation of Republican Women.  She leaves a void in the heart of anyone who ever knew her and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

A private service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 and entrusted to FRENCH Funerals and Cremations.
