Emily Chavez

Emily Chavez, 79, beloved wife, mother and grandmother and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on January 10, 2022. She entered this world on September 28, 1942 in Santa Rosa, NM, born to Alberto and Isabel Nelson.

She is survived by her husband David Chavez; their sons and their spouses Mark and Gina, Matthew and Frieda; and daughter-in-law, Diane Chavez; four grandchildren she referred to as her four Aces. Angelina, Andrew, Amanda and Adam; brother, Larry Nelson; and numerous family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee.
