Emilio Torres

Torres, Emilio "Ted" Age 87, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 29, 2014. He is survived by his brother, Charlie Torres and wife, Pat; and many nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Catalina Torres; siblings, Emma Basila, Mary Torres, Joe Torres, Lilly Sarracino, Rita Smith, Tony Torres, and Gilbert Torres. Ted served as an MP with the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for and retired from Sandia National Laboratory with the Atomic Weapons Division. He was an avid Lobo and Cowboys fan. Uncle Ted will be missed at family functions and gatherings because he had a wonderful way about him and a glorious outlook on life. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, June 2, 2014, 9:30 a.m., at Holy Ghost Parish, 833 Arizona Ave. SE. Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
