Elva Giron, 64, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, was called to her eternal resting place on October 24, 2017. She was born in Las Cruces, NM, and moved to Albuquerque where she worked and retired from the Department of Energy. Elva was known for her unforgettable laugh, her cool sense of humor, and her playful spirit. She loved her family and friends with extraordinary love. Her life was full. She had many hobbies and was involved with her local community center and family events. Elva lived a rich life. She was greatly loved by her friends and family, including her many nieces and nephews, who are thankful for the impact she made upon their lives.
Elva was born to Samuel and Juanita Giron. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel; and brother, Rudy. She is survived by her mother, Juanita Giron; her brother, Barney Giron; sister-in-law, Diane Giron; brother, Ernest Giron; brother, Sam Giron, Jr.; sister-in-law, Evelyn Giron; sister, Mary Lou Giron; brother, Fred Giron; sister-in-law, Delia Giron; sister, Elizabeth Boerstler; brother-in-law, Charles Boerstler; nieces and nephews, Denise (Michael) Montoya, Greg Giron, Martin (Ashley) Giron, Albert (John) Giron, Nicolas, Gabriel (Lori) Giron, Jennie (Andrew) De Jesus, Debbie Giron; great-nieces, Serena, Mirra, Lilly, and Melody
