Eloy Salazar

Eloy Salazar, age 74, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 on his 55th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife, Sadie Salazar; his children, Lori (Orlando) Armijo, Jo Ann (Pat) Cordova, and Linda (Curtis) Garand; his seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Flaviano Sandoval; four brothers; four sisters; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vidal Salazar; grandson, Jonas Ray Pichardo; sister, Dolores Armijo; and father-in-law, Remijo Jaramillo.

Eloy was a long-time employee of FRENCH Funerals and Cremations, retiring after twenty years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Friends may visit on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. till a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family with Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raelynn Gutierrez, David Ortiz, Charlene Armijo, Dominic Ortiz, Bobby Eloy Armijo, Dominique Pichardo, and Holly Garand.
