Eloisa B. Baca

Age 84, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14, 2014. She is survived by her children, Ruben D. Baca, Arlene Baca-O'Hara, Carl L. Baca and fiancee, Eloisa Taylor, and Michelle Ledford and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Julianna, Courtney, Ashley, Melissa, Christina, Deanna, Tamara, Jensen, Sabrina, and Jake; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Lydia Vigil and husband, Delfinio; and her aunt, Premia Quiroz. Mrs. Baca was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael V. Baca; daughter, Dolores Baca-Barton and her granddaughter, Victoria O'Hara. Eloisa was born and raised in Grants, NM and enjoyed visiting the family ranch in Cubero, NM. She was a wonderful cook. Eloisa enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish. A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, August 16, 2014, 9:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Parish, 5311 Phoenix NE. Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
