Eloida E. Torres

Eloida E. Torres born September 26, 1922 in Capulin, CO passed peacefully on Monday, March 8, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Torres.

Eloida is survived by her brother, Arthur Ortiz and wife, Dolores Ortiz; sister, Louisa Samora; five children, Marina Duran and husband, Paul Duran, Estella Sanchez, Annabel Romero and husband, John Romero, Henry Torres and wife, Cynthia Torres, and Robert Torres and wife, Liz Torres. Eloida is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, Stanley, Stephanie, Paul, Juanita, Lawrence, Teresa, Sonya, Adam, Jessica, Joey, Jacob, and Evelyn; 25 great-grandchildren, Eriq, Elijah, Joshua, Vladyslav, Nathan, Gabriella, Kaylee, Aunson, Gabriel, Jacob, Jeremiah, William, Dominique, Parker, Aliyah, Legend, Alaura, Isabel, Alayna, Olivia, Mike, Matthew, Grayson, Zia, and OM.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Kindred Hospice and Right at Home Health Care for the outstanding care, kindness and compassion that was provided to Eloida during her final days.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph's Dr. NW in Albuquerque. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
