Ellen Catherine Phillips

Ellen Catherine Phillips, loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, lost her battle with cancer and left this world on July 3, 2013. Ellen was born August 29th, 1950, and was the oldest of eight children. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Keaveny Sr. She is survived by her mother, Virgina Keaveny; husband, Larry Phillips; mother-in-law, Bernice Arnold; daughter, Tamara Phillips; grandchildren, Christopher Baldwin and Cassandra Baldwin; adopted granddaughter, Leanna Phillips; her siblings: Mary Barratt and husband Donald, Virgina Bosek, Theresa Keaveny, Dana Kelly and husband Charles, Robert Keaveny Jr. and wife Cynthia, Patricia Kaloczi and husband Steven, Edward Keaveny and wife Lisa; 9 nieces, 5 nephews, 4 great-nieces, and 4 great-nephews. Ellen was a project manager at the University of New Mexico and sat on the sustainability committee. She had an unwavering spirit, a kind heart, and a fierce sense of humor. She will be missed by all. Services will be held at the FRENCH - Wyoming on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to The Arizona Transplant House, Phoenix, AZ or another worthy charity of your choice.
