Ellen Marie (Mikkelsen) McHugh

Ellen, age 86, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2018.  She was born in Haugesund, Norway to Johan & Hilma Mikkelsen. At 25, she married the love of her life, Frank McHugh. They lived around the world, but settled in Albuquerque in 1974. Ellen truly loved life and lived it to the fullest.  She loved to meet people, dance, enjoyed her time with  family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents; her sisters, Thordis, Hildur, & Elise; and her three infant sons.

Ellen leaves behind her daughter, Karen Williams (John), her grandkids - Liz Waring (Mitch), Kat Wood (Matt), James Williams and family in Norway.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH-Wyoming. She will be interred with her husband Frank at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
