Ellen Carroll

Age 98, a resident of Albuquerque since 1980, died Saturday, June 8, 2013. She is survived by her children, James Carroll and wife, Edwina of Las Vegas, NV, Lynda Carroll of San Diego, CA, and Sandra Ward and husband, Dan of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Kim Hughes and husband, Mike, Chandra Block and husband, Mike, Brandt Carroll, Lang Carroll and wife, Carlene, Sean Ward and wife, Natalie, and Kendra Ward; great-grandchildren, Justin, Kaitlyn, Gavin and Sara Hughes, Deana Block, Crystal White and husband, Brian, and Chase Ward; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Aubrey Oldham and wife, Dollie, brother, David Oldham and wife, Irene; sisters-in-law, Sherlene Oldham and Onealure Oldham; nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, John "Shearon" Carroll in 2004; parents, Walter and Sarah Oldham; and brothers, Lawrence and Adrian Oldham. She was born in 1914 in Italy, TX and married Shearon Carroll in 1938 in Clayton, NM. Ellen was always a servant to others and remained faithful to her God to the very end. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French - LOMAS Thursday, June 13, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013, 10:00 a.m., also at FRENCH - Lomas.
