Sgt. Elizardo "Lee" Gallegos, a retired New Mexico State Police Officer, went to the lord
Saturday, January 7, 2017. He served 28 proud years with the New Mexico State Police. His last assignment was as Public Information Officer.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth; grandson, Andrew; great-grandson, Lincoln; brother, Roberto Gallegos and his wife, Anne; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was a Christian and a member of the Catholic Church.
The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, 10:30 a.m., at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church located at 8901 Candelaria N.E. The services will be under the direction FRENCH - University and the New Mexico State Police. A reception will follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Michael Gallegos Memorial Scholarship Fund at the NMSU Foundation. Thank you and God Bless.
