Elizabeth Fresques was born to Amadeo Pino and Carolina Ortega Pino on October 16, 1930. She lived a very full life that was reflected in her vibrant smile and sense of humor.
She married Fred E. Fresques on December 29, 1950; they were married forty-nine years before his passing in 1999. She leaves her oldest son, Frederick Lee Fresques and his wife, Linda; grandsons, Lee and his wife, Maria and Taylor Fresques; her son, Mack-Alec Fresques; her daughter, Marvelyn and her husband, Ronald Thomas; their daughters, Francesca and her husband, Daniel Luna; Natalie and her husband, Matthew Earthman, and her great-granddaughter, Zoe. They were blessed with the many memories that she shared about her youth while growing up in Sabinal, New Mexico with her grandparents Melende and Ricardo Ortega.
She moved to Albuquerque at the age of sixteen where she fell in love and married Fred. Above all, Elizabeth was a mother and stay-at-home mom until her children were grown when she became a proud Lobo, attending the University of New Mexico. While a resident of Bee Hive Homes of Bosque Farms, Lizzy enjoyed the company of new friends, a kind staff, the Manager Ina Welch, and Owners Henry and Kathy Holmes. Elizabeth loved others and was loved by family and friends.
