Elizabeth W. Baird

A resident of Albuquerque for the last 13 years, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Johnson and husband, Ron of Albuquerque, Carolynn Worstell and husband, John of Albuquerque, and James Sabin and wife Karen Kelly of Mimbres, NM; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Miller and Charlotte Moen and husband, Robert; and numerous other relatives and friends. Mrs. Baird was preceded in death by her two husbands, Fredrick James Sabin and Robert Baird; daughter, Peggy Lynn Sabin; and four brothers, Frank, Lawrence, Robert and Alfred Wilkinson. She was born in 1920 in Tallahassee, Florida to Lawrence and Minnie Lee Owens Wilkinson. After moving to Albuquerque, she loved creating ceramic pieces and working at the LDS Temple. Mrs. Baird was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at the LDS Church at 4109 Eubank Blvd, NE on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Viewing will take place at 3:15 p.m. Interment will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park on Dyer Street in El Paso, TX on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. FRENCH - Wyoming 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE (505) 823-9400
