Elizabeth Harriet Ash, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971, died November 10, 2016. She is survived by her husband, lover and best friend of 73+ years, James Cromwell Ash. Elizabeth was blessed with family members, sons, James J. Ash and wife Patricia of the UK, William B. Ash and wife Johanna of Albuquerque, Dale A. Ash and wife Judith of Albuquerque, Gary P. Ash and wife Sarah of the UK, and daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Enslin of Albuquerque. Daughter Linda Jo Ash predeceased her. She was Grandmother to Renee, Joseph, Brian, Nathan, Christian, Rebecca, Jessica, Jolene, Stephen, and many great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth was a Canadian by birth and a longtime United States citizen living in Michigan before making Albuquerque her home in 1971.
She was one of six daughters born to Johanna Lovell (nee Elder) and Joseph W. Lovell.
Her great loves were her family and the world of antiques.
Cremation has taken place. A family remembrance will be held in the near future.
