Elijah Jacob Riche was unexpectedly called to his eternal resting place on Friday November 26, 2021.
Elijah was preceded in death by his uncle Craig Barton Riche, great-grandmother Anselma Arellano, great-grandmother Pauline Polly Peek, beloved four legged brother Twix, and many other extended family and friends.
Elijah is survived by his loving parents Keith and Christina Riche; brother Samual Riche; four legged brother Trouble; grandparents Howard and Marilyn Riche, grandparents John and Porfiria Medina; aunt Brenda Padilla, aunt Bernadette Valdez (Frank), uncle John Medina (Jackie), as well as numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
Elijah Jacob Riche was born on June 21, 2003 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was handsome, extremely smart, funny, outgoing and loving. One of Elijah's gifts was making people laugh and he was quite the jokester. Since an early age he was always smiling, laughing and making people happy. He loved listening to music and watching funny shows, especially South Park and Family Guy, to name a few. He loved the Green Bay Packers and even attended a game at Lambeau Field with his grandpa Howard and brother Sam. Elijah's love for his family was as big as his personality. He had a strong bond with his four legged brother Twix and cherished every moment they played together. Those were some of Elijahs most happy moments in life. He was extremely close to his brother Sam and friends that he called brothers. He was loyal and always had anyone's back that needed it.
Elijah was full of pride. Some of his proudest moments were his recent graduation from high school, purchasing his first car, and recently moving into his own apartment. He was so excited to start his journey as a young adult and explore everything life had to offer. Elijah was passionate about many things in life and those that knew him witnessed that passion with every word he spoke. Another one of Elijah's gifts was his ability to tell a story. His story telling was epic and the intensity in which he told his story was unmatched. He was ambitious, had so many ideas, and was just starting to carve his own path in life. His potential was endless. His love for his family and close friends was undeniable and Elijah never hesitated to help them or tell them how much he loved and appreciated them.
For those of us that have been blessed to know and love Elijah, his sudden passing is inconceivable. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. We are all grateful that in his short life, he gave us so much love, joy, laughter, and many precious moments that will commemorate his life and the beautiful person that is and will always be Elijah Jacob Riche.
Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again! Rest In Peace Elijah. We Love You!! ❤️
