Elfrieda Emma Krause

Elfrieda Emma Krause, age 85, of Albuquerque, died peacefully in her sleep, Monday, May 12, 2014.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Brees, Kathy Fiolkoski, and Julie Walker; grandchildren, Shane, Michael, David, and Morgan; great-grandchildren, JoLynn, Cameron, Ravin, Kaylee, and Trystin. Elfrieda is preceded in death by her husband Alvin C. Krause; daughter, Beverly Zumbrink; and grandson, Jason Fiolkoski; siblings, Vernon, Helmuth, Albert, Henry, Sophie, Betty, and Wilma. She was the last surviving member of her and her husband's siblings.

She was a homemaker, and a wonderful mother to four daughters. She and Alvin moved to Albuquerque in 2006 to be close to their daughters.

Private family services will be held at the Rose Garden at Sunset Memorial Park.
