Eleanor Ursula Lantz

Eleanor Ursula Lantz, age 81, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 11, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Lantz; children, Lynda Wilson and husband, Scott, Darlene Gallegos, and Renee Lantz; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one arriving in June; and other relatives and friends. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and two brothers. She was born in Belen, NM in 1934 to Ignacio and Petra Tafoya and spent her childhood in Belen. Eleanor met Jerry Lantz in Albuquerque and they were married in 1971. She had a big heart and a crazy sense of humor. Her life revolved around her grandkids, not missing anything in their lives. Eleanor had a strong faith in the Lord. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be Tuesday, February 16, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
