Elaine Henrietta (Dreier) Uppendahl

Elaine H. Uppendahl (Dreier), 83, beloved wife, mom, sister, aunt and grandma passed away on March 19, 2022. She was known for her beautiful soprano voice and ability to whistle on perfect pitch. She loved to sing, cook, travel, sew, read and watch soap operas. Her smile was beautiful and her laughter contagious. If you ever stood in a line with her, she would have started a conversation with you! She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Forrest K. Uppendahl, their children; Debra Alba (Antonio) of Albuquerque, NM, and Lee Ann Potter (Steve) of Owings, MD; four grandchildren; Caroline Alba, Lydia Alba, Jack Potter, and Annie Potter, her brother, Howard Dreier (Marlene) and many nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Ella Dreier, her brother, Arnold Dreier and sister, Oneita Dreier (Urben). A Celebration of Life for Elaine will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28th at Cross of Hope Church in Albuquerque, NM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and/or Cross of Hope Church & School.
