Edwin Eugene McCurdy

Gene McCurdy, age 84, longtime resident of Albuquerque and proud New Mexican, went to be with the Lord on the morning of Saturday, July 24th. Gene spent 54 passionate years in the insurance and financial planning business with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. He was an active and devoted member of Hoffmantown Church for over 50 years. Gene should be remembered for his faith, deep love of family, devotion to friends, and love of country. Gene was preceded in death by the love of his life, Willa McCurdy, and his son, Dennis Broadwell. He is survived by his four children, Brad (Diane), Sheri (Kevin), Jeanetta (Gert), and Suzy (Cliff). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His memorial service will be at Hoffmantown Church at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 28th.
