Edwin "Candy" Candelaria

Edwin "Candy" Candelaria, age 82, passed away this past weekend. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and served 20 years with the US Air Force. His life was his family. He was a tireless volunteer with AARP, was a Gray Panther, helped with Senior Affairs, Bingo at Manzano Mesa Center and lobbied for Senior Affairs. His hobbies were traveling, volunteering, music, and reading. Candy is survived by his daughters, Marina and husband, Jim Brooks and Monica Baker; grandchildren, Alexandra Baker and Daniel and wife, Amie Brooks and their son, Shane; doggie, Susie; and his extended family in New York and Puerto Rico. Interment will be private.
