Ed was born in Utica, New York to Edward W. and Veronica Taylor. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Laura Goldsworthy (husband Steve), his son Edward (Bill) W. Taylor III (wife Jennifer), granddaughter Emily Goldsworthy, grandson Christopher Taylor, grandson Daniel Taylor and brother Richard Taylor (wife Nancy).
Ed was a Research Physicist with the U.S. Government, most of which was at the weapons lab & Phillips Laboratory. He also worked at UNM and NASA in addition to his own consulting firm. He was the recipient of many awards throughout his career. He was a member of several professional societies in which he was very active.
He was especially active with his church, Prince of Peace, and took great comfort from his interactions with the groups in which he was involved and cherished his involvement with the eucharistic ministry.
Ed had such a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. Anyone who knew him knows that he was a passionate outdoorsman who lived to hunt, fish, and camp. He was also an accomplished silversmith. And he loved to dance. He was a man of many talents.
He loved his family and always involved them in his many interests, so they in turn, lead amazing lives.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 11:00am, at Prince of Peace Catholic Community.
