Edward David Paboucek

David, age 55, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was born on October 20, 1967, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents Edward and Carlen Paboucek. David loved life and was happiest when working on cars. He was a reliable and sought after mechanic and went out of his way to help others. He loved motorcycles and owned many throughout his life. He had a fondness for animals, especially dogs, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. He had a great sense of humor and had many close friends. People were drawn to him and his wonderful personality. David is survived by his mother Carlen Paboucek; his sister Renee Sheckler, and her children Justin, Travis, Kyle, Nathan and Amanda Sheckler, Michelle Niavez, and their families; his sister Robin Cleek, her husband George, and their children Ashleigh Watkins and Courtney Cleek, and their families; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father Edward George Paboucek. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper Ave. NE, with a reception following.
