Ed was born on Tuesday, October 18, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Rio Rancho, NM in 1976. He was a family man, a golfer, a chef, and an entrepreneur in a variety of fields including dry cleaning, retail, food service, and finance. His other interests included offshore power boat racing, hot air ballooning, and entertaining friends and family with long and lively stories peppered with unique and colorful language.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, four grandchildren, one sister, and a variety of biological and honorary nieces and nephews, and a wide variety of friends and loved ones spanning economic, political, generational, and geographical divides.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at International Balloon Museum, 9201 Balloon Museum Dr. NE West room in Albuquerque.
