Edward Lynn Link

Edward Lynn Link died on July 28, 2024. Lynn was born and raised in Fence Lake, New Mexico. His parents, Wilson and Ruth Link, were second generation homesteaders. He is survived by his son, Casey and wife, Tiffany; granddaughters, Hazel and Violet; stepchildren, Lori and Scott; brother, Bob and wife, Pam; nephews, John and Jeff; and niece, Audrey.

Lynn spent his entire life in New Mexico with the exception of a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was especially fond of Fence Lake where he spent a good bit of time and energy maintaining the family homestead. First and foremost, he considered himself a "Fence Laker." He had a special relationship with his cousin, Kathleen Gibson and her daughter, Shayla Garner.

Lynn spent most of his career in the home construction industry in the Albuquerque area. He served many roles well including combat veteran, patriot, carpenter, son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend of many.

Services will be held at the Fence Lake Community Church on August 10, 2024 beginning at 12:00 p.m. The service will be followed by a reception at the community center.
