Age 58, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 3, 2013 after surviving a critical accident on September 19, 1980. He is survived by mother, Fella Stockham, who was at his bedside for the past 32 years; sister, Debbie H. Aguilar; niece, Jodi L. Tafoya; great nephew, Jadyn Edward Madrid and her partner, Randy Garcia; his loving and special God parents, Richard W and Laura Garcia (Auntie Chimmy) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mr. Herrera was preceded in death by his father, Alberto Herrera; maternal grandparents, Perfilio & Predicanda Lucero; paternal grandparents, Aveelicio & Lita Herrera. He was an employee of Mountain Bell as a cable repairman. Edward had the opportunity to travel, which he loved, and experienced many things and places. He was a bicycle and fitness enthusiast, had a passion for martial arts and enjoyed a variety of music. Ed will be dearly missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 8, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix NE, in Albuquerque. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phillip Lucero and Debbie Aguilar. Memorial contributions may be made to Queen of Heaven Parish.
