Edward Hanish

Edward Hanish died on his 93rd birthday, April 25, 2024. He was born on April 25, 1931 in Hopedale, OH, to Frank and Marie Hanish. He was the youngest of five sons. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ardis; daughter, Robin; son, Kurt; daughter-in-law, Rebecca; and grandchildren, Carmen and Jack. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura and granddaughter, Shanta.

Edward served in the United States Air Force for four years during the Korean War. He was a graduate of the Ohio State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He worked at Rockwell International his entire professional career. In retirement he enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking, outdoor winter sports, fishing, and community involvement.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University. Memorial donations may be made in Edward's name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or a charity of your choice.
