EDWARD DODD GLADDEN Age 91, passed away on July 2, 2013. Edward was a dear friend, neighbor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and an outstanding individual. After his naval service in both World War II and the Korean Conflict, he returned to Albuquerque with his family. In the early 1950's, Eddie and his father-in-law, Fred Mossman Sr., were men of vision, instrumental in developing the North East Heights of Albuquerque in commercial and residential construction . Edward is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Phyllis Gladden, daughters Kathi Tate and husband, Jim, Julie Roskosh and husband, Gunter; four grandchildren: Jamie Jauriqui and husband, Manny, Anney Snyder and husband, Daniel, Meghan Tate and Hans Roskosh. He was blessed to have five great-grandchildren; Lyla, Harper and Luke Jauriqui and Moxie and Macie Snyder, whom he loved dearly. He stood for truth, honesty and integrity, with a keen sense of humor and love of life, family and country. He will be fondly missed and remembered for his generosity to so many people and of course, love of golf at the Albuquerque Country Club. Memorial Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. We gladly welcome our friends, family and loved ones to celebrate the life of such an exceptional man.
