Edna L. Young

Edna L. Young, 85, went to be with the Lord January 26, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles Young; her children, Robert Young and wife, Julie, Linda Givens, Stephen Young; grandchildren, Jennifer Evers, Brian Givens and wife, Nicole and Chris Givens; and her great grandson, Tyler. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Alice Robinson and her five brothers and four sisters. She was also on the board of cosmatology for two different governors. She was very active in the Democratic party and worked on numerous campaigns. She was a devoted wife and enjoyed being a mother. Mrs. Young was a long time member of Northeast Church of Christ. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 30, 2016, 12:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
