Edna was a special lady and friend. She enjoyed quilting. She had a love of softball and umpired softball and volleyball games. Edna was the President of the New Mexico Senior Sports Foundation and Secretary for Silver Gloves softball. She became a realtor in her later years and helped many friends and families find their forever homes. She was the most patient Bible school teacher. Edna dedicated her life to the Church.
"God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come with me". With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best."
Mom will be laid to rest in Santa Fe National Cemetery with Dad. Hopefully she's not late and he's ready for her!
