Edith Pierce

Age 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died Thursday, June 27, 2013. She is survived by her children, Nelma Gresham, Shirley Ward, and Tom Pierce, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren Danny Gresham of Ridgecrest, CA, Monty Gresham of Albuquerque, Brian Gresham of Albuquerque, Kim Sugg of Albuquerque, Carla Aquilar of Gilbert, AZ, and Tom Pierce III of Albuquerque; eight great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. All the grandkids knew her as "Tooty" and loved her very much. Edith is also survived by her sister, Vivian Roberson, half-sister Jan Brown, and half-brothers, Curtis Parsons, Sheldon Parsons, and Mark Parsons. Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Joe Pierce. Edith loved bowling, family get togethers and going to the casino. Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with services at 11:00 a.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menual Blvd NE.
