Eddie "Tupa" Perdomo, age 74, a loving father and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Eddie was known for his impeccable style, great head of hair and his love of salsa music. He was a jokester and always called those he loved "creeeeeep". He was well-known in our community and everyone who knew him always had something special to say about him. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle and Savanna; and his son, that he loved so much, EJ, his namesake.
He is also survived by his sons-in-law, Alexis "Lexi" and Eugene "Gene" and his grandchildren, Alex "Lito", Jordan, Monique "Kiki, Dominic, Asia, Dylan, Aaliyah, Andres, Arya and Derek. He also leaves behind many loved cousins and friends; far too many to name.
Those special friends of countless years remained in his life such as Pat "Patas" and Carl and some that left us too soon such as Barry, Bobby, and Leo to name a few. He had many good friends, and he was a good friend in return. Those who knew him were lucky to enjoy his laughter and company. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward "Eddie" Mateo; his mother, Rose; and his beloved brother and best friend, Johnny or "Juanuch", as he liked to call him. I can only imagine this reunion of brothers filled with love and excitement.
A Rosary will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside. There will be a service after the rosary and a dessert reception immediately after because we all know he loved his sweets!
In lieu of flowers we would love plants as he tended to his plants religiously.
