Earle Raymond Poorbaugh II

Earle Raymond Poorbaugh July 7, 1926 - December 31, 2013 Earle Raymond Poorbaugh, born in Baltimore, Maryland July 7, 1926 the son of Earle Raymond Poorbaugh Sr. and Margaret Lorena Ensor passed away at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico on December 31, 2013 surrounded by family. Earle, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, relocated from Maryland in the early 1950's. Earle proudly served in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged after being promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant. He continued his military service as a Captain in the New Mexico Army National Guard. After, retiring from the National Guard, Earle worked in the insurance industry where his passion to help others, charming personality and knowledge of business helped him become very successful. He will be remembered as a caring, loving, and supportive man that enjoyed gardening, reading, playing bridge, sharing his knowledge of military history and spending time laughing and enjoying the company of his friends and family members. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathy Poorbaugh, Daughter, Christina Poorbaugh, Son, Edward and his wife Michelle and their three sons Austin, Nolan and Evan, Son James and his wife Tracey and children Joshua, Abigail, and Nathaniel. He is preceded in death by his son Earle R. "Skip" Poorbaugh, father Earle Poorbaugh I and mother Margret Ensor. Services will be held on Saturday, January, 4, 2014, 11 AM at St. Michaels Episcopal Church - 601 Montano Rd NW. Memorial contributions may be made to Casa San Miguel Food Pantry, an outreach ministry of St. Michaels Episcopal Church.
