Dotsy Schreiner, age 86, passed away on December 17, 2022, from complications due to a stroke. She was born November 15, 1936, in Oklahoma City.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 66 years, Herbert (USAF, ret.), along with four children: sons, Mark of Flagstaff, AZ, Steve (Maggie) of San Diego, CA, Jeff (Kay) of Lakeway, TX, and daughter, Rebecca (Vince) of Plano, TX. She was a proud GG to four grandchildren, Joshua, Bayleigh (Chris), Cheyanne (Trenton), and Bonnie (Chris), plus one step-grandson, Travis (Jennifer). She had seven great-grandchildren, Caleb, Laken, Joleigh, Jude, Emmett, Daphne, and Kira. She is also survived by her brother, James (Catherine), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson and Kathryn Duncan, two brothers, Joseph and Jack, and her sister, Rosemary.
Dotsy had a special zest for life, and was always up to travel, visit family and friends, and play games like Password. She was the best example of a military wife and mother. There was no stopping her love as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She lavished it freely and abundantly. Dotsy loved Jesus and her church, and we know she is dancing in heaven.
The family would like to thank Shanna Iversen for her love and care, along with the many friends and members of The Believers Center for their on-going love and support.
A private family burial will take place. A celebration of Dotsy's life will be planned for 2023.
In lieu of flower, please consider making a donation to the Believers Center of Albuquerque.
