Dorothymarie Funcke

Dorothymarie Funcke, 81, beloved sister, was called to her eternal resting place on March 1, 2017. She entered this world on June 9, 1935 in Belleville, IL, born to Arthur Funcke and Olinda Funcke-Kirsch. She is survived by her sisters, Karen Lynch of Albuquerque, NM and Marcedes (Herbert) Rauch of Lincolnshire, IL as well as many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents; stepfather, Clarence Kirsch; her brother, Dale; and sister, Delores.
Dorothymarie was a professed Secular Franciscan in Jesus in the Morning Star Fraternity, a Catholic Daughter of the Americas, a Marianite who served in the Annunciation Parish, a member of the Annunciation Women's Guild, a member of Annunciation Golden Agers and several prayer and rosary groups.
Rosary services will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017, 5:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 6, 2017, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Annunciation Parish, 2621 Vermont NE. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothymarie's memory to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, 1202 Pennsylvania NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 or Animal Humane NM, 615 Virginia NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
