SOLANO, DOROTHY R. Age 81, a lifelong resident of Springer, NM, died Sunday, February 9, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Donna R. Vigil and husband, Vince; son, Cipriano Solano, Jr., and wife, Joan of Albuquerque; two brothers, Donaciano Vigil and wife, Etsuko, Floyd Vigil and wife, Hyocha; and two sisters, Josephine Kinard and Rosemary Johnston; as well as 7 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cipriano Solano, Sr.; sister, Margaret Wakefield; and brother, Raymond Vigil and her parents Clara and Donaciano Vigil. Dorothy was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church in Springer, NM. Friends and family may visit FRENCH-Westside on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 14, 2014, 10:30 a.m., with Mass immediately following at 11:00 a.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW.
