SAUCEDO, DOROTHY NELL Age 88, a longtime resident of Corrales, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2012 with her family by her side. Dorothy was born in Tyler, TX to Cicero R. Neeley and Laura Edna Shirey Neeley on February 15, 1924. Dorothy was the youngest and last surviving member of her family which included 11 children. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Vicente P. Saucedo, a well-known guitarist; and her niece, Jean Potts. She is survived by her daughter, Juanita and husband, Steve Gutierrez; grandchildren, Cameron and wife, Rose Gutierrez, Alyssa Gutierrez and Devin Gutierrez; great-grandson, Oliver Gutierrez, all of Albuquerque; nieces, Edna Miller, Betty Anderson, Jana Bowman and Pam Kennedy; nephews, Michael Neeley, and Mark Neeley; along with numerous other nieces and nephews throughout Texas. Together with her husband Dorothy owned and operated The Covered Wagon, in Old Town in the 1960's and Drink, Inc. in Corrales in the 1970's where she cooked and served patrons and Vicente provided the entertainment. She will be dearly missed. A private family service was held and Dorothy was laid to rest by her husband at Sunset Memorial Park.
