Dorothy Janet Michel

Mrs. Dorothy J. Michel passed away peacefully at her home in Albuquerque, NM. She was two months from her 80th birthday and a resident of the Duke City for 45 years. Dottie was a wife, mother, aunt, and friend to so many people. Having been married for nearly 60 years and serving as an Air Force spouse for more than 20 of those years, she traveled across the U.S. and around the world advocating friendships and the positive influences of God and country. Dottie suffered for more than four years from multiple medical issues of increasing severity. She passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023. She was wonderfully loved and is terribly missed yet the family knows she is in a better place. A visitation will take place Monday, June 26, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Westside.
