Dorothy (Baca) Martinez

Dorothy Baca Martinez, mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend left us peacefully July 1, 2018. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 27 years, Manuel Martinez; two sons, Samuel and Manuel Jr; their wives, Krista and Denikka; grandchildren, Jacob, Sway and Andres; sisters, Louise, Margaret, Esther, Rosanne and brother, Arthur. She was aunt to 54 nephews and nieces and 10 great nephews and nieces. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Salome and Sophia Baca; her sister, Jeanette and brother Anthony. Dorothy had many close colleagues and friends through her professional career. She proudly retired as a paralegal with the City of Albuquerque in 2015. A Rosary will be held on Friday July 6, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church at 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, Albuquerque NM 87102.
