Dorothy Vera (Lovato) Martinez

Dorothy Martinez, 59, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on December 9, 2017. She entered this world on December 28, 1957 in Gallup, NM, born to Noe and Dory Lovato. She is survived by her husband, Joe Martinez; son, Thomas Martinez; daughter, Meredith Martinez; father, Noe Lovato; mother, Dory Lovato, sister, Bernadine Lovato, and brother, Joesph Lovato. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcella Martinez in 2016.
Dorothy was incredibly devoted to her grandchildren, Anthony, Tianna, Victoria, Tyler, Joseph, David, Eric, Oliver, Luna, and Ellie. From week long summer trips, to her famous Spooktacular she did everything to show her love for them. Dorothy retired from Qwest as an Allocation Manager, and was an OSP Facility Engineer at the time of her passing. She strived to be the best in everything, and she always succeeded. She was always willing to work hard, and she had an incredibly loving, generous nature.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Rio Rancho.
