Dorothy Wright

Dorothy Wright, née Lewis, of Collingswood and Haddonfield, New Jersey, and Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 98. She is survived by her daughter, Jan, of Albuquerque, and her nephew, Tom, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Dottie was a field hockey star in high school, graduated from Pierce Business School in Philadelphia, and worked at RCA Camden where she met and married Harry G. Wright. She worked in the RCA division that handled Hollywood film issues, and was lucky to meet several movie stars and moguls. After raising her children, she went back to work at the Haddonfield Public Library, in Haddonfield, New Jersey, until she and her husband retired to Florida. After her husband and son passed away, her last years were spent in New Mexico, where she could be close to her daughter. She loved summers down the shore in Townsend's Inlet, New Jersey. With lots of friends, she enjoyed playing cards, antiquing, going to the beach, traveling, swimming, caramel ice cream, and catching up on the latest.
