CRANDALL, DOROTHY E.Age 89, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away, Friday, October 5, 2012. She was born in Maryville, TN the daughter of Leon and Catherine (Hix) Hargis who predeceased her. Two brothers and two sisters also predeceased her. Dorothy served in the U.S. Navy WAVES during WWII as a Navy Code Breaker on Japanese messages. She worked for 32 years for the Federal Government. She was married to Lt. Col. Frank W. Tester, USAF and later to Paul H. Crandall, USAF, both deceased. She is survived by one son, Frank and wife Kelley; three grandchildren, Brian, Travis and Hannah; three great-grandchildren; Samantha, Alec and Brayden Lukas. She was a member of St. Stevens Methodist Church. She worked several years as a volunteer in New Hampshire and New Mexico. Funeral services will be at La Vida Llena at 10501 Lagrima De Oro Road Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87111. She will be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery along with U.S. Navy Honors.
