Doris Elaine Skinner

Doris Elaine Skinner, passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Doris was a long time resident of Albuquerque of nearly sixty years and was born in Ovid, Colorado on June 9, 1935. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She worked several years as a dedicated nurse at Presbyterian Hospital and at the offices of Dr. Don and Frank Trinoski. Doris is survived by her loving husband of sixty one years, George Skinner; daughter, Diana Lanes and husband, Kurt; son, Brad Skinner and wife, Patty; grandchildren, Jennifer Lanes, Heather Johnson, Shawna Skinner, Andrew Skinner and Gregory Skinner, and great grandchild, Heidi Johnson. Doris also leaves behind many other cherished family members and friends, including her four younger brothers, Haldon Kime, Lynn Kime, Dale Kime and Lonnie Kime. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Kime and her father, Ford Kime. Services will be Thursday, September 24, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mauselom, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. A Reception will follow at the home of George Skinner.
