Doris Mae Kugler, 88, passed away peacefully Friday May 27, 2016 in the home of her granddaughter, Paula Wiltgen and husband, Michael McDaniel in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Born in Spearfish, South Dakota Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Kugler; sister, Ladonna; and great grandson, Timothey.
Doris enjoyed a full life surrounded by her pride and joy, her children. Doris is survived by her brother, Leon Hansen and wife, Ruth; sister, Janet Ripperda and husband, Don; sister, Clarice Pearson and husband, Russ; brother, Elroy Hansen and wife, Faye; son, Randall Kugler and wife, Mary Helen; daughter, Katherine Mortensen and husband, Ed; daughter, Janice Farrington and husband, Tony; and son, Ken Kugler and wife, Debbie; her grandchildren, Sheri, Lori, Jason, Aaron, Michael, Lisa, DeAnne, Karee, Scott; and her granddaughter; Paula whom provided care for her grandmother in the last month. Doris is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Doris touched the world and left her mark through her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris stubbornly kept the peace whenever confrontation arose. Her light will be felt whenever we are together, whenever we remember her and always through our laughter.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Legacy Hospice and we wish to extend a special thanks to Legacy RN Davery Gallegos.
