A resident of New Mexico since 1955, died Friday, May 24, 2013. She is survived by her three sons, Stuart Campbell of Jackson, WY, William Campbell of Albuquerque and Frank Campbell of Bel Air, CA; her granddaughter, Tracy Campbell of Albuquerque; and her younger sister, Margaret Welin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was a graduate of Oberlin College and gained post-graduate degrees from St Joseph's College and the University of New Mexico. She taught elementary school for Albuquerque Public Schools for 35 years. She was the Washington D.C. liaison to the Governor of New Mexico, Bruce King, during his second term. She also taught school in Caracas, Venezuela and Damascus, Syria. There was a private ceremony at the home of her son William on May 26, 2013.
