Doris J. Bunsen
Born in 1934 in Littlefield Texas to Ben and Flora Mae Addington. She spent most of her early childhood in El Paso, Texas and spent later years in Pecos, Texas where she was in the "Maid of Cotton" beauty pageant. Pecos is where she fell in love and married Jake Lewis. She met her second husband, Elliott Bunsen, and moved back to El Paso where they lived for over thirty years. Her greatest love was for her family: two daughters; Gail Sahs, Sheree Youdim, and son in-law Tom Sahs, and three grandchildren, Michael and Nick Chisari, and Randi Riffle.
Her love for French style and her creativity showed by how she dressed, interior decorated, and designed elegant flower arrangements. She also loved to make her award-winning toffee for her friends and family at Christmas.
She is celebrated for the love, laughter and affection she brought to all her family and friends.
