Doris Winona Brown

Doris Winona Brown, age 96, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, passed away in Murrieta, CA, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She is survived by sons, Richard Brown of Albuquerque, David Brown and wife Marilyn of Murrieta, CA; grandchildren, Christopher Brown of Irvine, CA, Dr. Adam Brown of Los Angeles, CA, Abigail Griebel of The Woodlands, TX, James Brown of Tacoma, WA, Amy Macaluso of Murrieta, CA, Todd Macaluso of Vista, CA. She also had eleven great-grandchildren. Winona was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charles Warren Brown. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and enjoyed many years of church fellowship, square dancing and RV travel with her husband and their many friends. No funeral is planned. There will be a Celebration of Life to remember her at Christ United Methodist Church at a later date. She will be interred with her loving husband at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
